We met Zimbabwean metal sculptor Spencer Chinake a number of years ago. Spencer welds his sculptures from recycled metal. Our unique collection of African recycled art makes a happy addition to outdoor gardens or indoor decor!

In early 2022, Spencer and Nontando collaborated on a number of new and unique designs and creations. During our buying trip to Africa in September/October 2022, we enabled Spencer to visit and spend some time with us in South Africa and together we assembled his collection with our freight forwarder to ship it to the USA. This sculpture is part of this collection!

Spencer lives in a town near Harare, Zimbabwe. Spencer uses recycled materials, discarded automobile parts and discarded oil drums to create stunning works of art and features one-of-a-kind detailing.

Spencer is a solo artist. He is not part of any group or team. As a business that has been dealing with Zimbabwean metal art for many years, we can say with complete confidence, his art is of superior quality to anything we have ever seen before.
